Lions for Lambs

On Monday, we finished watching "Lions for Lambs." The movie was very good, better than I would have expected. It was a good movie, even beyond the aspect of Education, though the Education part is the focus of this post.

This movie shows both aspects of a talented but unmotivated student, to two students who are not all that bright, but work their tails off to do what they need to succeed. I really enjoyed watching Dr. Malley during his conversation with Todd in trying to motivate him. It showed how teachers have the opportunity to affect kids' lives, this is also proven in Arian and Ernest's decision to give their life for their country.

All in all, I enjoyed the movie, and did get something out of it educationally. Movies that inspire me to be a teacher are always enjoyable. I look forward to the next monday lecture, and will be getting back on here sometime next week.
